Upcoming Red Cross Safety Services

Haissst... I don't know why but I have a negative vibes regarding this seminar. Of course I know that the objective is to train us on application of first aid and basic life support in case where there are emergencies in the working area or at home which is very useful and

But yesterday we undergo medical check up from our company doctor and was able to obtained a medical certificate stating that we are physically and mentally fit for the event. What bothered me was the number one item stated on the certificate that the person "ME" can carry weights more than his/her body weight.. duh! I told the doctor and the nurse that I'm no good in carrying or lifting heavy objects but they told me that I should not worry because the lecturers will teach us the techniques on how to do it.. =( I'm really no good in lifting weights much more lifting a person alone.. hayzzz..

Wedding Bells

I'm no good in photo editing.. forgive me Sir Allan, I always turned to him on those stuffs..

October 9, 2010 this is such a remarkable and unforgettable date for my friend Allan Uniforme and his wife Eloisa de Jesus. After years of waiting and preparing, they finally tie the knot. I am so happy for both of them. Though we had to travel a long way from Laguna to Bulacan, I can say that it's worth it.

Seeing two people in love and starting anew their journey together always put a smile on my face.

The solemnization was at Hearts of Jesus and Mary Parish at Malolos Bulacan. Their reception was held at Malolos Club Royale Resort and Restaurant. Frankly speaking, I'm of two thumbs up on their food. super like. hihi... We've eaten lunch at around 1330 hours already which makes us all really hungry. so glad that our table was called first for the buffet. (so lucky..)

It was a long and fulfilling day!

Did I marry the right person?

I want to share this article entitled "Did I marry the right person?" , I wish I could also post the originator for this article but I had no way to find who it was. Every time that I'll be receiving this article thru forward mails, the author is always anonymous but nevertheless I'm giving him the full credit for such an enlightening article.

Here it is:

Did I marry the right person?

During one of our seminars, a woman asked a common question. She said, "How do I know if I married the right person?" I noticed that there was a large man sitting next to her so I said, "It depends. Is that your husband?" In all seriousness, she answered "How do you know?" Let me answer this question because the chances are good that it's weighing on your mind.

Here's the answer.

EVERY relationship has a cycle. In the beginning, you fell in love with your spouse/partner. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked their idiosyncrasies (unconventional behavior/habit) .
Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience. You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love... Because it's happening TO YOU. People in love sometimes say, "I was swept of my feet." Think about the imagery of that __expression. It implies that you were just standing there; doing nothing, and then something came along and happened TO YOU.

Falling in love is easy. It's a passive and spontaneous experience. But after a few years of marriage, the euphoria (excitement) of love fades. It's the natural cycle of EVERY relationship. Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they come at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens), and your spouse's idiosyncrasies, instead of being cute, drive you nuts.
The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship, but if you think about your marriage, you will notice a dramatic difference between the initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage.

At this point, you and/or your spouse might start asking, "Did I marry the right person?"

And as you and your spouse reflect on the euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with someone else. This is when marriages or relationship breakdown. People blame their spouse/partner for their unhappiness and look outside their marriage/relationsh ip for fulfillment.

Extramarital fulfillment comes in all shapes and sizes. Infidelity is the most obvious.
But sometimes people turn to work, a hobby, excessive TV, or abusive substances. But the answer to this dilemma does NOT lie outside your marriage. It lies within it. I'm not saying that you couldn't fall in love with someone else. You could. And TEMPORARILY you'd feel better. But you'd be in the same situation a few years later. Because (listen carefully to this): THE KEY TO SUCCEEDING IN MARRIAGE/RELATIONSHIP IS NOT FINDING THE RIGHT PERSON; IT'S LEARNING TO LOVE THE PERSON YOU FOUND. SUSTAINING love is not a passive or spontaneous experience. It'll NEVER just happen to you. You can't "find" LASTING love. You have to "make" it day in and day out. That's why we have the ---- expression "the labor of love." Because it takes time, effort, and energy. And most importantly, it takes WISDOM. You have to know WHAT TO DO to make your marriage/relationship work. Sure true love can only happen after you've fallen out of love. When you begin choosing to love, even if you don't feel like doing it ---- that's true love. And that's the foundation of a lasting and strong marriage.

Make no mistake about it. Love is NOT a mystery. There are specific things you can do (with or without your spouse) to succeed with your marriage.
Just as there are physical laws of the universe (such as gravity), there are also laws for relationships. Just as the right diet and exercise program makes you physically stronger, certain habits in your relationship WILL make your marriage stronger. It's a direct cause and effect. If you know and apply the laws, the results are predictable. .. you can "make" love. Love is indeed a "decision".. . Not just a feeling. You'll not just go away with your relationship just because the feeling is gone. In the Bible, love is a command. You make it happen.

Marriage and falling in love is always a choice. It's a union of two souls in love with common dreams and aspirations, bound together by God.

Birthday Gal - Rhea Del Mundo

My birthday tribute to you... ^_^

Rhea Lobrin Del Mundo
Born : October 5, 1985

Let's start with her name... ^_^

-In Greek mythology Rhea is the daughter of Uranus - the sky, and Gaia - the earth. She was known as "The Mother of Gods". She married her brother Cronus and is the mother of Demeter, Hades, Hera, Hestia, Poseidon and Zeus.

- The second largest moon of Saturn is named Rhea too.

- Rheas refers also to large, flightless birds with gray brown plumage, long legs and long necks almost similar to an ostrich.

Now looking into these three names connotations, I'm thinking hard which best reflect her..

For the first one - Rhea came from a brood of 12 siblings. It's a big family also like those of Rhea in Greek mythology but I doubt that she will have 12 children in the future.. laugh laugh.. because for sure they will have a television set for her own family (making lesser spare time to make babies... haha )

For the second one - eeennnkk, she can't be compared to the second biggest moon in Saturn, it would rather be the smallest moonlet Aegaeon.. ^_^

For the third one - eeennnkk, haha.. actually my friend is the petite type. ^_^

Enough of this crazy stuffs, bawal ang pikon.. haha..

Happy birthday my dear Rheapotzkie. Thank you for the friendship. I hope that all your wishes come true, and if it didn't always remember that God is far wiser than you know. He's always answering our prayer not in the way we wanted but in the way He knows best for us.

Happy birthday again! love ♥ love ♥ love ♥

Imortal - ABS CBN

I'm very sure that almost everyone here in the Philippines know the teleserye entitled as "Imortal". I'm usually an early sleep goer , but last Monday evening , I together with my boyfriends' parents went to a birthday bash of their relative, thus I came home a little late than my usual arrival. (which is just in time for Imortal )

I really had no plan of watching the said teleserye though I find it's trailer quite good and interesting. When I came home I'm just in the nick of time, Imortal is on our tv screen with my aunts watching it. The red and black hues together with the smokey and the full moon effect of the episode caught my attention and I just find myself sitting together with my aunts and watching it till the end.

Hayzz... I'm not after the actors or actresses, I'm really after the uniqueness of the story. It's not the usual Twilight (vampire-werewolf) story as some say. It definitely had a story compared to Twilight.. hehe It's my opinion anyway ^-^ , I'm not fond of the Twilight movies but I can say that this teleserye is really different from it, though I must admit that they came up with the story because of the hit movie.

I just hope that it will live up to my expectations. Kudos to ABS-CBN for another great teleserye!

FRDP on it's 2nd Year

We had no big celebration this year but nevertheless I'm happy.

October 6
- this day marks FRDP's second year anniversary. FRDP stands for:

F - F.tech
R - Research
D - Development
P - Philippines

As a subsidiary of F.Tech Inc in Japan, we are engaged in electromechanical research and development of auto parts which caters to the demands of Honda, Nissan, Toyota and other car manufacturers. I've been a satisfied associate of this company since July 2008. I was first employed by FPMI (F-tech's sister company on July and was transferred to FRDP on October of the same year --- .)

Working here had been a blessing for me, my work schedule is Monday to Friday, thus giving me more spare time to rest and get things done. We have a very good working environment too, well engineered office, above average compensation and benefit package, encouraging management team and good and funny comrades. (Though there are those times na may mga nagpapasaway talaga - hehe)

I've learned a lot of things here, be it career related or not. There are times that you will find yourself in a confrontation with your colleagues regarding stuffs about work but at the end of the day, you know that they're still your friends and nothing changes between the two of you. And that's what I love most. We're like family here.

And as our theme goes " FRDP - We are One" , truly we really are. One as a family and our aim to be the number one - center of research and development for automotive parts here in Asia.

Happy 2nd Year Anniversary to FRDP! Long live! Cheers.. =)

Stupid Reasoning

Just this afternoon, I felt like I'm kinda' pissed off on the status of the Health & Safety report... I'm a member of that committee that's why I'm affected on the reporting feedbacks.

I am not the reporter for this month though I know that there should be an October report even if the reporter was on the night shift, I thought it will be our Committee Leader who will take the cue but I was surprised when he told our Manager that no one will report since the supposed reporter is not present. Eventually the Committee Adviser took the reporting.

What pissed me off is the reasoning that the report was not prepared because of their busy schedule. OMG, how could he use that reasoning?! Then it was followed by the remarks that if their group (we're on different department) was busy then they should have transferred the reporting to me. Duh! As if I wasn't busy at all.. Everyone's busy, how can it's not possible for them to have the report prepared in 30 minutes max?! If I'm busy and I need to do some stuffs, I even bring home the work or use my spare time during breaks just to get things done. I just find it so IRRESPONSIBLE..... I will wholeheartedly accept it if I know that they had exhausted all their efforts and they had no spare times for it, but it's not the case. We should all learn how to manage our time well and how to make small sacrifices to account for all our responsibilities and duties.

♥ GT : Black Stuffs

For this week GT post it's all about black stuffs.

I personally don't like the black color. Maybe it's because here in the Philippines, most of the time the weather is hot & dry, black or dark colors tend to absorb more heat, and I don't like it.. haha.. It's already hot and wearing black makes it feel a lot hotter. Though for formal events, I would agree that black can really makes you look so glam especially for night events.

I used some stuffs in our office that are black. I have my desktop DELL computer, my organizer, my notes reminder and my calculator. haha.. And also my latest fave bag, it's a native one (purchased from Baguio City) with black highlights & handle

Also here's the picture of my boyfriend wearing a black shirt, (I guess I just have to post him, since I consider him mine.. haha) It was our 2009 family day t-shirt at Enchanted Kingdom.

Happy GT! =)

Here's the pic, this was supposedly our blue team group picture but since we love you, here you are hehe.. naligaw ka na green team! wahahaha

Now you know the reason why we don't have a group picture.. lolz

♥ GT : GreeN mE ♥

I can say that this is the most prominent color in my wardrobe today.. haha This color makes me feel fresh, alive and so earthly... It reminds me of the shrubs, bushes and grasses that grows abundantly in our area every rainy season (Silang, Cavite). It's just so refreshing! We even painted the inside walls of our house with cool green shade. I wish I could post some pics of our place (maybe next time, if there will be a chance again).

These are few of my pictures with me wearing green stuffs also here is my fave Chipmunks Theodore who sports green outfit too.

Do blog hop on other GT accounts and see their green stuffs. Happy GT!

♥ Groceries w/ siStaH ♥

Just last night, me and my sister did our grocery shopping for the second half of September consumptions. As we were going from aisle to aisle, I notices my sister taking her time strolling around. I thought she just misses doing the grocery shopping, since it was always me and my boyfriend who does the shopping but unfortunately I was partially wrong.. she's doing it on purpose. haha.. Instead of just buying our usual grocery items, she kept on looking for new stuffs to be use in her cooking and try those new foods/treats that she haven't tasted yet. Hahayz.. And as expected my grocery bill ballooned from the usual Php 1,800 it became Php 2,300+. Right after the grocery shopping, she's implying that she wanted to eat and me, being a good sister, told her okay we'll eat shawarma, but she changed her mind and asked for pizza instead.. Woah! My budget was wrecked, next time I won't do my grocery shopping with her anymore. =)

Thanks for visiting!

♥ Dilemna ♥

I'm feeling nostalgic today. I just talked to a friend this morning and I really emphatized with what's happening to her these days. Hayzz.. It remind me of those time when I find it too hard to move on with my first love. (It makes me laugh now..) I wished I could just bumped her head to the wall but in a way I still understand her. She may not be perfect, her decisions may not be right all the time but who am I to judge, I should be just a fervent listener and try to make her look at things in different perspective..

I met my friend during my last work at SVI. She's one real friend. We get along well. She had a boyfriend those time and during their rocky moments he met someone, an officemate too. I couldn't believe they'll click but surprisingly they really did. She broke up with her boyfriend and give it a try with this new guy.

Their relationship went smoothly until one day, a girl from his past came and claimed that his boyfriend had a son with him. She left their son in the custody of his boyfriend. According to her boyfriend, she and the girl just had a fling and it occurred a year before he met my friend. And he's denying that it is really his son and is demanding proofs from the girl. With this my friend broke up with him, she don't want to mess up and thinking that she couldn't be the cause of a broken family, she broke up with him and get backed with her ex-boyfriend who during that time is still wooing her but the communication lines between the two of them still remains open. One year had gone, the girl who claimed that she had a son with still can't give the guy enough proof that he was really the child's father, she just took her son away.

And now my friend had a smooth steady relationship with his boyfriend but still she had a special feeling with her ex and vice versa. Hayzzz.. With this situation I just told her that follow your heart. Know what makes you really happy. Choose the one where your love for him, exceeds your need for him. I just hope I cleared her mind well. It's true that it's easier to give an advice than apply it on yourself. On a personal note, I don't want to be put in this same situation..

I wish she could make the right decision. All I can do as her friend is to listen and give her a sensible advice. Let us always remember that love is a two way street only, you must love only one and let go of the rest. =)

♥ GT : My RED Samsung Phone ♥

Hi! I have been so busy these last weeks that I failed to post my blogs for GT, hope you can forgive me guys..

For this weeks topic, I chose to blog about My Red Samsung Phone. If there's one material thing I can't forget to bring with me always, it's definitely my cellphone. haha.. This cellphone was a gift to me from my boyfriend on our 4th year anniversary. He purchased it on it's original red housing and recently we changed it's housing and it's red again.. haha.. Though the housing seems old already because of the scratches.. haha.. (blame it to me..) I usually sleep with this phone under my pillow and wake up with my phone alarm. It's the last thing I hold on every night time and the first thing I get to hold on to everytime I wake up. Such a necessity.. can't live without! lolz =)

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever

Rainy season is here again.. and so are the diseases like dengue fever.

Simply speaking dengue fever (dengue hemorrhagic fever) is a mosquito borne flavi-virus that is endemic in the Philippines. One can get this if he is bitten by infected female aedes aegypti mosquitoes, they are the carrier of the virus. The mosquitoes generally acquire the virus by feeding on the blood of an infected person. After virus incubation of eight to ten days, the mosquito now can transmit the virus to humans for the rest of it's life. It is also proven that female mosquitoes can transmit the virus to their eggs thru transovarial. Infected humans are the source of virus and multipliers for the uninfected mosquitoes. The virus circulates about two to seven days on the person's body, it is at this point also that they have fever and at the same time the mosquitoes may acquire this virus also once they feed into their blood.

The symptoms include sudden onset of fever, which may seem like a severe kind of flu-like illness, with muscle pains, pain behind eyes and joints and rashes.

Dengue as per WHO is a potentially deadly complication that is characterized by high fever, often with enlargement of the liver and circulatory failure. In severe cases patients condition may severely deteriorates in a few days of fever, followed by temperature drop and circulatory failure and may die in a period of 12 to 48 hours, if not given the proper medical attention and treatment.

There is no vaccine yet for dengue although there is an ongoing study. It is still not proven that the transovarial transfer made by female mosquitoes to their eggs are the sustaining transmission of the virus to humans. Still it's the human who is the primary and principal carrier of the virus.

With this what we need to do is prevention. Let us always keep our households and surroundings clean. We should not allow areas that will be conducive to the mosquitoes reproduction, like stagnant waters. And let us kill mosquitoes mercilessly when we see them, let's not give them chances to spread the virus.

♥ GT : My Sassy Girl! ♥

If I will be watching movie with my boyfriend, I want to watch again "My Sassy Girl - Korean version".

This movie is about a girl who meet his destiny during the time that she was in her most depressing moment. Her boyfriend for years had recently died and they're planning to get married already. With that incident she turned into a new leaf, from a responsible and very modest lady she become lost her sense of direction, become irresponsible and come home always late and drunk. Then at one point in a public train, the girl was so drunk and started to involve herself in a fight. Then came his knight in shining armor, a total stranger, yet she helped the girl. The girl even vomited on his jacket. All the passengers thought that the girl was his girlfriend, and they were looking at the guy with dismay, saying he should take good care of the girl and not let her drink too much. The guy try to clear his name and say that she don't know the girl, but no one will believe him. When the train reached it's final station they both got off, this time the girl already fainted. He don't know what to do, he can't leave the unconscious girl in the station so they end up in a hotel to let the girl recovered from his drunkness. It was so good of him knowing that they were both strangers. When the girl woke up, she was so angry and wanted to fight the guy, but she realized that the guy just helped him, since the guy don't even know her name and address and he can't let her alone in the station drunk and unconscious. Such a weird first meeting! But that's the start of it all. They end up dating. The girl then give the guys the things he want that guy to do, if my memory is still right, the last thing she asked him to do was to give him a rose during her piano recital in front of her class. All the things that her past boyfriend did to her, she tried to repeat it with the guy one by one, with the thought that with those things again , she can feel that his past boyfriend is still alive. Not knowing inside that slowly she's falling slowly for the guy. They both ended up their dating with high hopes that someday they will meet again, when the girl is totally healed.

Then came the day, the girl was asked by his ex-boyfriends mother to come and see him so she can finally introduced her to his nephew. She told him to forget his son because it's been years already since his son passed away and she should move on and love again. Then her nephew comes along, when they see each other, they were quite surprised, a smile was in their faces and they immediately hold hands. The mother was surprised also, asking them how did they knew each other. They just told her that it was a long story. They know it already in their heart that this the right time for their love. And that their accidental meeting is planned by God above.

This is one hilariously romantic and sad movie all rolled into one. It makes me cry a lot and laugh harder. . It just proves that only time can really understand such a great love.

♥ HaPPy BiRthDay jAbAbY koh! ♥

Tomorrow (August 12) is the 26th birthday of my boyfriend. We've been together for six years, 3 months and 10 days as of now. It's not an easy six years, we separated thrice because of various reasons but in the end of it all we still go back to each others arms. If I'll sum up all the periods that we'd separate ways it will be a little more than three months. The last time we separated. If it is not him who never get tired to woo and court me in spite of the fact that I've been avoiding him, we wouldn't be together again after the break-ups. Justify Full
My boyfriend is one of those few dying breeds of guys who will do everything within their means to make their girls feel loved and secured. Though he's so jealous of little things, little by little he's overcoming it and I'm glad about it. He's one sweet person. The two latest personalized stuff that he gave me this first quarter of 2010, is his Valentine letter personally crafted by him and the banner/streamer with our picture in it and a personal message. nyahaha.. He's so corny but I just love the way he is. Another thing is, he always cooks for me and my family though I haven't returned the favor yet to him because I'm really not fond of cooking.
As my birthday gift to him, I bought him a slightly mahogany colored leather wallet, though you won't notice the reddish shade in one glance, it looks more of a not so black hue leather wallet. Honestly I only give him expensive gifts when it's his birthday. haha.. I don't know why. maybe I'm so kuripot.. When I give gifts it's really expensive that's why it's so seldom. haha. But I usually give him not so expensive yet personalized stuffs, like for our sixth year anniversary I gave him a personalized mug and a matching green shirts for both of us.

To my dearest Jababy Juan Karlo C. Laserna, happy birthday to you! And I wish you all the best in the world. I'll always support you and will do my best to keep you on your right track. Kisses and hugs ♥♥♥♥♥

♥ Beware - Cab Plate Number TXR 435 ♥

Please care to read this post, we might encounter this situation also. It's about the modus operandi by certain taxi drivers, like this cab TXR 435.

Just this morning I was viewing my facebook account when I chanced to read one of my friend's post. My friend relays what happened to her. According to her she was on her way home from San Juan to Cainta, she was carrying lots of stuffs so she decided to get a cab to take her to her place. Inside the cab she was smelling something she compares to a menthol, then all of a sudden she started feeling dizzy and sleepy. She had this gut feel that there was something wrong especially when the taxi driver frequently wipes his face with a wet towel. She had watched this modus operandi on news before that's why she immediately reacted on the situation. She confronted the taxi driver on this and immediately called his boyfriend with a loud voice telling him her situation and the taxi's plate number, still the driver had not responded to my friends' allegations. My friend immediately decided to cut her trip and told the driver to drop her at Isetan, still there was no response from the driver. Until she threatened that she will jump off the taxi with a firm determination, with this the driver decided to stop and drop her at Isetan. When she came out of the cab, she immediately inhale and exhale, trying to gasp for more fresh air. At this point, the driver then told her that what she's smelling was his asthma's medicine.. stupid driver. What do he think of his passenger, dumb?! Luckily my friend immediately reacted to the situation if not, who knows what will happen next. Maybe she'll get raped, robbed and maybe she'll end up dead.. hayzzz.. Good thing she knows what to do.

God is so good for saving my friend. Please let us all be vigilant. Keep safe.

♥ mOviE to wAtch wiTh fRiEnDs - gRowN uPs ♥

If I will be watching movies with my friends I would want that movie to lighten our mood and makes us smile and laugh. With this in mind I think I would prefer to watch the movie "Grown-ups".

This movie really makes me laugh out loud and reminisced the antics , me and my friends had. The main characters here are Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider, put together they really did a good blending which makes the film so darn hilarious.

This movie is about five guy friends who after thirty years decided to re-unite with each other in memory of their late junior high basketball coach who led them to championship and imparts in them that they should live their life, the same way they played basketball. They had so much respect and adoration for their coach that they decided to all come back to their hometown with their families for the funeral and spend their fourth of July weekend together at a lake house.

In this movie the four of them have their own families and only one of them is still single. They had their own children and wives who form part of the story. And also they had their own problems as families and as individuals. In this movie it showed how they still had those childhood memories in their hearts and during that vacation they tried to release that part of their selves and do all those crazy stuffs again, this time with a bigger company, with their children and wives. It also showed how each of them deals with each of their life 's blows and how honesty and sincerity makes their bond stronger and how acceptances makes them a complete and healed persons.

I want this story to inspired me and my friends that even if we grow old apart. We will still be in each others heart and we're always there to support each other. Even if we had families of our own, we can even include them as an extension of the friendship that we had. The more, the merrier and most importantly, older age will never be a hindrance to enjoy life with friends and families.

This is my first post for girlz talk. Hope you'd welcome me in ur fam. :d

♥ fReaKing PimPLes ♥

I decided to write about pimples because a dear friend of mine and myself was wondering why there are periods in which there are outbreaks of pimples which really make us freak out. As a girl I know how it feels to have those pimples especially when we don't want it to appear in the first place.

Let's start with what is pimples:
Simply stated pimples is a kind of acne which is brought about by excessive oils that clogged the pores of our skin. As we all know there are thousands of pores in our skin, inside this pores there lies the sebaceous glands which produces sebums. Sebums is an oily substances which are preventing our skin and hair from drying. However excess sebum may eventually leads to acnes. As our outer layer of skins shed, the dead skin cells left behind may mixed with the sebum which can block our pores thus producing pimples. When we say acne these generally refers to eruptive diseases of the skin, since I'm not a dermatologist by profession I just want to shed some light on pimples, blackheads and whiteheads. Among the other popular forms of acne are white heads and black heads.

For the pimples I tried the Panoxyl cream/gel available in the market and match it with a mild soap. For quite some time this do the job until one day it no longer worked out for me. I really don't like to go to a dermatologist, but my pimples were really freaking out. I tried going to a clinic and there they have this acne treatment package which finally put a control on it. The package include transparent soaps to help remove the excess soap in your face which may eventually unclogged the pores and a keratolytic cream which controls the oil on my face plus the wonder papain soap that removes the traces of pimple scars. As for those who wanted home remedies, you should always wash your face with a mild soap or cleanser, avoid touching your face with your hands because your hands is a carrier of dirts and bacteria and also don't let your hairs block your face, this can trigger irritation. You should also take adequate sleeps and proper diet.

Whiteheads:
These refers to the tiny and white raised spots which are caused by the accumulation of hardened sebum or oil in our pores. These can be best removed by steaming our face for about two to three minutes, the hot steams open our pores , with this we can easily remove or prick the whiteheads. When the whiteheads softened you can now prick the apex and put your two fingers on each side of the whitehead and gently apply pressure on both sides until it came out. I've bought a whitehead/blackhead remover from Watsons at a very affordable price. It is also recommended to use calamansi extracts to wash our face since they contained vitamin C and it's citric which is good for the skin. When pricking it you should remember that you should not force the stuff to come out, too much pressure in removing it can cause scars and tiny broken veins which will make it reddish, that's the prime reason why we need to open up the pores first thru steam.

Blackheads:

These are caused by excess oils that are accumulated in the sebaceous gland's ducts. It usually is hardened keratin and modified sebums which darkens as it oxidizes or as it is exposed to air. They usually appear on clogged hair follicles which give it it's black hue but normally it's color when extracted is yellowish or yellowish brown. As compared with whiteheads, they are composed of the same substance but whiteheads lacks an opening to the skin surface that's why it remains un-oxidize and white. You can remove this the same way as you removed your whiteheads, but you should take note that we will only remove these blackheads if they looked like popping out.

I hope I had helped you with this article. :D

I've been wondering what causes broken family ties. In my family I have always been close to my mom's family more than my dad's family. I don't know why. When we were younger we used to pay visits to my fathers home town every year and we do spent the special occasions like Christmas in his home town. But as I grow older, things changes. When my parents decided to move to my father's place (Cavite), me and my older brother opted to stay at my mothers' town (Sta. Rosa) since we were both enrolled in a private school and we can't refund our tuition fees. But as time goes we even opted to finish our college education in Santa Rosa too with our parents regularly paying visits to us.

When my father died I chose to stay in his home town, until now, not because I don't want to live in Santa Rosa anymore but because I feel, we all feel that we should be living in the house that my Dad built for us, the one in Santa Rosa is my mom's ancestral home. It's been more than one and a half year since my Dad passed away, I'm living in our house but I just feel a little awkward interacting with my Dad's family. Maybe it's because of the fact that I grow apart with them.

So many things had happened but I just can't let go of the fact that along the way they had hurt those persons dearest to me, maybe unintentionally only God knows. In my heart there's a longing to be close to them again and rekindle the past good relationship we had way back before..

♥ tHe LaSt aiRbEndEr moVie ♥

After the long wait, I finally get to see "The Last Airbender " movie, I am so fond of the anime version that I am so excited in seeing the movie. It takes me two days to finish the complete season of it's anime version.

Right after we finished the 9:45 mass, we hurriedly go to SM City - Santa Rosa to watch the movie. It was showing on Cinema 3 on 3D. We bought sour cream french fries and pizza for our snacks. I really don't like to watch 3D movies, aside from it's quite expensive for me, I don't like the feeling of watching with two eyeglasses on, I was wearing my eyeglasses for my error in refraction and on top of it was the 3D glasses. The 3D glasses is required to be worn while watching the movie, because if you don't wear it, you won't be able to see the effects and the images are a little unclear, with it on, it will seems that the characters and scenes in the movie are popping out of the screen.

So far the movie was good though I was expecting more. Noah Ringer the one who played the role of Aang in the movie was quite good. He knows his moves well and I can see that he truly has a knowledge on martial arts and as his first time to act, he doesn't fall below my standards. For the characters Socka (Jackson Rathbone) he's quite a looker as compared to the anime character. And for Katara (Nicola Peltz) she's Caucasian in this film. I can't wait for the next book, in which Aang and Katara will find themselves slowly falling in love with each other, if the filmmaker won't change the story. ( I hope they won't. ) For the villain Prince Zuko (Dev Patel) he's quite good too in his role.

For the first book they included the highlights such as Aang and Appah being awakened from their long sleep by Katara and Socka, Prine Zuko and Uncle/General Airoh's chase of the airbender, the Blue Spirit who helps Aang, he death of the Moon Spirit and it's resurrection, Aang in his Avatar state and the Northern Water Tribe & Fire Nation battle.

Overall I can say that the movie is good and I'm looking forward to see the rest of the trilogy.

♥ tHis thiNg caLLed FARMVILLE ♥

My eyes are painful again... this was all due to Farmville. Yesterday I was so engrossed playing the game that I spent two straight hours looking at my monitor and re-arranging things in my farm. And this is the result.. hayzzzz...

I'm maintaning four farms in Farmville, my farm, the farm of my two siblings and my boyfriends' farm. They asked me to tend to their farms while they can't fit it into their schedules. And here I am busy with all my work loads yet I still find time for it.

Farmville as all knows is a Facebook game in which you can have a farm of your own, with all the animals, trees, houses & vehicles in it. Your wealth on your farm depends on how industrious the farmer is in planting crops which will give him high yield. You can also have your friends as your neighbors and they can visit and help you in their farm and vice versa plus they can give you wonderful gifts. Why do I love playing Farmville?? Because in Farmville everything seems so simple, when we plant our crops, we need not water it anymore though we can ask our friends to help us and they will fertilize it. I just have to wait for a couple of hours or days then it's harvest time and here comes the income. If we got so busy with our chores and forgot to harvest on time we can ask our dear friends to visit our farm and unwither it or just unwither it ourselves. If we don't have the luxury of time to wait for our crops to grow, we can use their biplane to instantly grow our crops in the blink of an eye. We can have the mansions, the villas and other things which the elites have in real world. It's like a dream world of simplicity and abundance.

Maybe my attachment to Farmville these days reflects my current complacent feeling, which is not good.
I hope everything is as simple as Farmville but it isn't. I must not be complacent instead I must continue to strive in achieving my ambitions and dreams. *-*

This time around, I want to introduced you all to my wonderful brood.

Now let's start with our eldest, his name is Jeffrey aka Kuya Jeff. When we were younger he used to give us scientific names, I don't know what influences him to do that (it's really weird scientific names.. haha). We go on the same elementary and secondary school, since he's two years older than me he is obliged by our parents to carry my bag. I remember one incident during our elementary days, we were still sleepy as our mom get us on a jeepney to ride at around 6:30 in the morning because classes starts on 7:00 am. The moment we get down of the jeepney, I was stunned not because I saw an accident but because I was dead worried that both me and my brother was not carrying my bag. My bag contains all my notebooks, books, pencils etc.., we don't know what to do. My brother asked me if I left it in the jeepney but I couldn't answered because all the while I thought why is he asking me, if he's the one assigned to carry my bag. But since he's looking so intently and annoyed at me, I just said "maybe I left it in the jeepney... sigh). After that he immediately run after the jeepney, luckily the vehicles were moving slow. When he came back to me at our schools' front gate, he told me that my bag is not in the jeepney anymore. Then came my rushing cousin
Ate Nors... surprisingly she was carrying my bag, then she told us that we left the bag at our house and mom asked her to bring it to school since she knows that we would go looking for it.. hahaha.. it seems we're really so sleepy that we go to school yet forget the bag.

I owe a lot to my brother, he's a major contributor to my studies, without him, my parents would not be able to support my college education. He's a super thrifty person, during his vacation he can last the whole one month with only twenty pesos on his wallet. He also has a
monstrous appetite, actually it's the four of us who had that monstrous appetite, we really love to eat and when we eat, we eat a lot. hehe

Now my brother is currently married to Anna Czeriza Timoteo, he met her during his stint in ROHM Electronics. They are gifted with a very charming angel named Maxiene Loraine, named after her two lola's.

For my second sibling his name is Jerickson, we fondly call him Egoy due to his skin color. He's the tallest among us all and gifted with such beautiful high bridged nose.. nyahaha.. I envy him.. hehe.. He finished His Bachelor in Industrial Technology course in Cavite State University - Carmona branch. Among the four of us, he's the the easy go lucky type and very good in mingling with people.. he's so much like my father when it comes to social interaction. He's celebrating his birthday every year in three to four days drinking session/celeb. Recently he's been cleaning my aquarium and I love him more for that. (laugh laugh) .He's a good cook too. I just don't like him when he's drunk because he's a menace to the nth power. He loves watching Sunako Nakahara too, if people will know that, they won't believe it. He plays basketball way to well than my Kuya Jeff. haha.

For our bunso she's named Jenelyn, we're calling her Ayie, it's because when we're younger Egoy can't pronounced her name properly, he keep on calling her Ayie and maybe to avoid confusion also because we're both Jennies. Among us all she's the most maldita and the taray princess. When she say no, she really meant no and you can't do anything to change her decisions. Among us all, she's good in doing new dishes, she loves to watch cooking shows. If given a chance according to her, she would have taken up Culinary Arts rather than an Engineering course. I like it a lot when she cooks, coz they are so delish! According to my aunts and mom, she looks like my mom's mother. She finished B.S. in Electronics & Communication Engineering. She's good in fixing and destroying things in our house.. haha. She's very good in handling pains, even if her tooth is aching, still she won't tell you or drink any medicines, she will only tell you if her condition worsens and you have to take her to the hospital for treatment. I remember one time that we had to go to the dentist and have the dentist performed an operation to her because her case already worsened, instead of a simple tooth extraction it became a dental operation that need stitches.. hayz... She's like that but she's one sweet person too. :D

For my mom and dad.. we call them Mama & Tatay. Tatay was named Andres, fondly called as Ding. He passed away last January 3, 2009, so sad.. He's the best cook I ever encountered, though he's not a cook by profession still all the dishes he served us were the the best. He's not the sweet vocal dad, he usually makes lambing thru us thru cooking. Everytime we eat together, he would always give me the better part of our viand, say it's sinigang na baboy, if he had scooped meats in it, he will first give it to me. I think that's what made me think I'm his favorite! I remember when we were younger, he used to be the one who fix my hair and he always want it long. He's very good in mingling with peoples, he always has his own way of touching other lives. Sometimes I wondered why I see him so seldom inside the house, when he passed away I see that even if he spent less time inside our house, it doesn't make him a less dad. He had spent his life meaningfully and had so many friends and peoples who loved him sa dearly. I was so touched to see all those people who joined us as we bid our last goodbye to Tatay. I can say that even in that very depressing moment, I am one proud daughter.

As of my Mama, her name is Maxima, fondly called as Sima. We endearingly call her Momsy. When we used to live together in Santa Rosa, she was one strict mom and aunt. Whatever she say, we follows. haha.. especially when she's teaching us our lessons, she always had a ruler on hand. My mom looks like a Bombay because of her features, deep set eyes and nice nose. When the family moved to Cavite she lessened her strictness, good thing for Egoy and Ayie. She loves us all, though I think I'm her fave too. haha. I don't know what makes me their favorite, maybe it;s because I'm really such a good and responsible daughter. (lolz) Mama is taking medications for her hypertension, with this we had to watch her diet, but just like all of us she loves to eat too, according to her as she grows older, she tends to be more hungry than the usual.. hehe

Let's go now to my extended family. Meet my eldest Aunt, we called her Ate but her name is Belen. She's the best, she took care of us when we were babies because my parents were both working. She's stronger than me and can carry heavy objects at her age of 76. hayzz... Like me, she isn't fond of cooking, she loves latundan bananas so much!

Next is my second eldest aunt, her name is Cory, Tita Cors or simply Oly as we called her. She's a certified sewer like my mom and a very good cook too. I love it when she cooks chicken and pork adobo in atsuete.. really delish. She used to buy our christmas dresses and clothes way way back before. I usually accompany her in their company trips before. Both my aunts are old maids but I see nothing wrong in that, they are happy having as as their children. :D

♥ mY jaBaBy ♥

For today I want to share the conversation I had with my jababy last night (July 20, 2010).

We had a petty misunderstanding last night because I told him that I just had written and post my first blog yesterday. Don't get him wrong it's not that he's anti social or something it's just that he's a little jealous that I might meet someone new here and eventually replace him.. hayzz.. though I have told him countless of times that I would never do that. I also told him that blogging can earn us extra income in the future and it makes me feel light that I am writing again. We had slept last night with this thing unresolved, blame it to my sleepy head.. luckily this morning he told me that he wanted to see my blogger account and he's asking me to teach him how to do it, though he's not saying it directly i know that he already allows me to continue blogging.. hehe.. And as our usual conversation goes we started by greeting each other and reminiscing last nights conversation about the "daing issue" ( we call daing all the dried salted fishes or meats which are oftentimes sun-dried or soaked in a mixture of vinegar, ground pepper, minced garlic and salt and he's insisting that the proper way to call the daing na bangus is sinukaang bangus.. unfortunately for him he did not win his argument.. hehe) and ended up by saying, i love you and jumayos ka. hehe..

With reference to the phrase "jumayos ka" it means umayos ka. We managed to put :"ja-je-ji-jo-ju" in our languages. I don't know how it started.. I'm trying to trace back in my memory but I just can't.. (memory gap.. tsk
..) Definitely we're not jejemons because jejemons refer to those person who instead of making their text messages shorter and simpler to comprehend are doing the exact opposites , but it's our way of baby talking to each other.. hehe.. Instead of calling each other baby we end up saying jababy.. but i love jababy more, it makes our endearment more unique and special.

Open and regular communication is vital in any relationship. It's not really the quality of talks that matter mostly it's the time We should make it a habit to talk a lot and listen more than we talk or hear with our hearts. ♥

"My First Blog"

There's so many things in my mind.. I can't even decide which things I should write first or their sequence but one thing for sure I'm so excited and a little bumpy to WRITE again..

With this things in mind I guess the best to do is to start with how I feel.

When i was in high school I really love to write, I even join our school organ "The Glimmer", we release the newspaper twice a year. It's contents include the Editorial, articles regarding the different school activities, sport news , entertainment (puzzles, mind games) and we also have a portion in which other students who are not part of the team can contribute articles, stories and poems which they can put to whom they dedicate it (i find this sweet and by the way this is my fave part of the school organ :D..) I started during my sophomore year as a contributory staff, though I did not contribute that much.. guess I'm way to occupied by thinking how to pass my Algebra subject plus the daily suffering me and my classmates had to suffer from being with such a terror professor, I still remember her name (Ms. Amoranto)... hayzz... She's such a petite lady but with very strong command of words and who would want our daily meeting to start and end with an active class participation thru recitation.. though I give my salute to her.. she's definitely one of those professors who know their subject well. Now I'll go back to my writing career.. hehe.. On my junior year, I was promoted as Associate Editor in News.. I was doing my part well with the News Editor... typing and proofreading and also I was assigned to do the articles on the Intramural..I don't really like sports but since I'm assigned to do an article on it, I have no choice. It's not that much exciting but seeing my name on the paper when it came out with the caption Associate Editor in News, it makes me so proud. Then came my Senior year... guess what?!... I'm the Editor in Chief... Yehey!!! I am so happy. I make the editorial, assigned articles to my colleagues, do a lot of proofreading and is overall in-charge on our newspaper... Hayzzz.... I feel so fulfilled when our issue came out and I saw my co-students holding their newspaper and reading it with a smile on their faces .. It's tiresome, full of pressures but still so fulfilling.

I am fond of joining essay writing contest too... And luck is on my side... I guess God is good for He knows I need the prize money.. lol

During my college years.. I got so busy with numbers that I forgot that I love words more than numbers. lol

Too much reminiscing...this is how I feel about writing again,it's just this time it will be blogging. ♥♥
